Guidelines for indoor worship
Before coming to worship
If you are at increased risk of severe illness (older adults, persons with medical conditions), stay
at home and continue participating in distance worship (worship video and zoom worship)
If you have been exposed to COVID-19 in the last 14 days, are feeling sick or have any
symptoms please stay home and participate in distance worship.
While in the church building
Doors will be propped open before and after service
Maintain 6 to 10 feet of distance between yourself and others who are not members of your
One family group per pew, pews have been blocked off to allow for physical distancing
There will be no fellowship time
Handshaking and other forms of personal contact will be discouraged.
Use a cloth face mask when inside the church unless you are under the age of two, have trouble
breathing, or are unable to remove the mask without assistance. (CDC guidance). Face masks will
be supplied for those who need them.
Changes in Worship
There will be no congregational singing-musicians will provide music
There will be limited unison speaking
Hymnals and all other items have been removed from the pews
To limit contact we will not be passing the offering plate/noisy offering
Bulletins will not be printed, but the service will be projected
Children will not come forward for the Children’s Sermon
Busy bags will not be available for children
Communion will be prepackaged and self-serve
