Pastor John Paulson
Pastor John began his call to Augustana Lutheran Church in June 2022. He has over 30 years of experience in rural and urban ministry, media, healing ministries, and community development. Pastor John is married to Holly, lives in Sioux Falls, and has four adult children: Zachary, who lives in San Franciso, CA; Nicolas, in Princeton, NJ; Adam in Sioux Falls, and Angela in Minneapolis. Pastor John is eager to support ministry, hear stories, and listen to God’s guidance.
Diane Larsen, Music Director
Diane has been a church musician since the age of 13, when her home congregation of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Redfield, SD, sponsored organ lessons for her. Organ proved to be an important instrument for her, becoming her principal instrument during her undergraduate work. Being a church musician has been a major part of her life for decades. About 30 years ago she began incorporating contemporary music into worship, and has led many contemporary worship bands for several local churches.
Diane calls Tea, SD, home. She has 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren. She is a co-owner of the B&G Milkyway in Tea, SD.
